The bath poncho - a practical and stylish garment

You're standing on the beach and about to change. While you're holding the towel together with one hand, you're trying to pull on a loose swimsuit or bikini with the other. Suddenly it blows up and panic sets in. You try to pinch the towel together with your legs so as not to give the onlookers more than you want to show. A wet swimsuit or swimming trunks is a two-handed job to put on. Imagine if there was a garment that you could change into...

Surfers solved this problem long ago. Since they surfed in windy places and often in anything but summer weather, they needed a garment that they could change into, that dried quickly, and that was stylish enough to walk around in and warm up in between surfs - eureka, the swim poncho was born!

But the swim poncho has been discovered by more than just surfers. More and more people are discovering this practical and beautiful garment.

Futah's ponchos and towels are inspired by African hammam fabrics. They absorb effectively and dry super fast. They work just as well after a shower at home, as they do at the beach or by the pool.

The bath ponchos come in three different thicknesses; the single-woven, such as Ericeira, is the thinnest and is suitable for summer when it is hot. The patterned ones are double-woven and feel a little warmer and thicker. The poncho is also available in a soft, cuddly terry quality. This poncho is comfortable if you are a little cold or on a slightly colder day.

What about the size? Since all Futah's bath ponchos (for adults) are one size, it can be hard to imagine how it can fit everyone.

The poncho will simply be longer if you are shorter and shorter if you are tall. The same goes for the sleeves, they will be longer if you have narrow shoulders and shorter if you are broad-shouldered. If you are petite, the thin weave may feel better than the double weave or terry. But the poncho will fall to your body and not feel big.

The poncho is suitable for anyone over 1.40m tall and all body types. If you get steamed or it doesn't feel right, you can exchange it for another model or return it.
