Collection: Coconut Bowls

Coconut Bowls was created by Australian Jake McKeon. He was inspired by a backpacking trip in Asia where he saw how beautiful beaches were being destroyed by litter, and how much Western waste was affecting people in the third world. He explored different possibilities to make a positive contribution to the world. This led to the idea of taking something that would be thrown away, the coconut shell, and transforming it into something useful – bowls.

Coconut Bowls also takes responsibility for people throughout the production chain. They pay wages that are at least 30% above the global minimum wage (Fair Trade, ETI base Code) and offer full-time and secure employment to give people security and stability.
