Green clay lemongrass - Organic handmade soap

Green clay lemongrass smells fresh and clean and is a natural soap that instead of chemicals contains cosmetic clay from French green clay (Montmorillonite).

Soap making is an old craft and there are different ways to make soap. Kaliflower Organics does it with the so-called cold process, or cold process. Cold process soap is the most gentle, because it is made without adding extra heat during the saponification process itself. This way, the good properties of the oils and beneficial additives are avoided from disappearing.

Organic coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil and almond oil are the simple base in all the soaps.

Each soap is cut by hand and left to mature for at least four weeks to ensure a mild and gentle lather with the right pH value. There are no chemical dyes in the two black clays, instead various cosmetic clays are added; in this soap it is French green clay (Montmorillonite). These completely natural additives give both color and texture to the soaps and above all they contribute with skin-care and deep-cleansing properties.

These eco-friendly soaps are great for hands and body, and even for face and shaving. It is important, however, that the soaps are allowed to dry between uses, preferably stored upright in a soap dish with good drainage, preferably a loofah pad. This will prevent the sink from getting dirty and the soap will last a long time.
