Linoljesåpa - bra till nästan allt!

Linseed oil soap - good for almost everything!

GENUINE SMÅLAND LINICE OIL SOAP

Linseed oil soap is probably the most environmentally friendly cleaning agent we have today.
The raw materials are renewable and the ingredients are easily biodegradable. A good environmental choice!

The linseed oil soap is hand-boiled using Swedish cold-pressed raw linseed oil and guarantees very high quality. It is environmentally friendly, biodegradable and can be used for almost everything. The soap is very gentle on the skin and is a good alternative for allergy sufferers and for those who do not want to use surfactant-based cleaning products.

The soap can be used for a multitude of things and together with vinegar and bicarbonate, they are the only thing needed in your cleaning cupboard to handle even very tough jobs .

KITCHEN & BATHROOM

·        Soap spray - Mix 1 tbsp Källans Linseed Oil Soap to ½L water, spray on and wipe with a wet cloth. Kitchen cabinets, walls, countertops and tables.

·        Dishwashing - 2 teaspoons in the dishwater or a few pumps on the dish brush.

·        Clean the oven - Apply concentrated linseed oil soap, heat the oven to approx. 100°C, turn off, let cool and scrub the dirt out.

·        Anti-fog on the bathroom mirror - Polish with a little undiluted soap.

·        Wash the floors - 2 tablespoons of soap to a bucket of scrubbing water. Use only cold or slightly lukewarm water on wooden floors, keep in mind that linseed oil soap can also dissolve old and dried linseed oil paint.

·

WASH

·        Machine wash - For a standard 6-7 kg washing machine, about 2-3 tablespoons of pure linseed oil soap straight into the detergent compartment is enough. One pump with the can pump gives about 2 tablespoons. Can handle 30, 40, 60 and even 90 degrees.

·        White laundry - Same amount of soap, add just over 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate to the detergent compartment with the soap. Run as usual. It's not a miracle cure for yellowed sheets but can help keep the laundry white for a little longer.

·        Stain removal - Rub a little soap & cold water on the stain and let it sit for about half an hour, then wash as usual.

·        Red wine - Rub in plenty of soap. The stain will first take on a blue/green tone like rusty copper as the wine oxidizes. The next day you can rinse out the soap or machine wash. On colored fabrics, esp. orange, it may take a little longer to get red wine stains out, rinse off the old one and apply new soap every now and then until the stain is gone. Test on a small area first.

·        Delicate garments - should mostly be hand washed but can be washed gently on a 30-degree cycle with a splash of soap. Applies to both wool and silk.

·        Rag rugs - Wash rag rugs in the shower or bathtub. Soak, pour soap on them and step on them, turn them a few times, step and stomp. Rinse in the same way until the rinse water is clean. Use about 1 dl soap/rug

·        Old leather clothing - Do you have an old suede or leather jacket that is greasy and stained? Don't throw it away, try washing it in the machine on the wool program with linseed oil soap. The result can be a clean, soft and nice jacket, but don't take unnecessary risks, some jacket linings can be sensitive!

GARDEN & PLANTS

·        Fertilization - 1 capsule of linseed oil soap in the flower water once a week produces nice green plants.

·        Pests - Spray strong soapy water on flowers and bushes with pests. Use a 10% solution, i.e. 9 parts water and 1 part linseed oil soap. For severe infestations, a small splash of Red spirit/T-Red can be added to the solution.

·        Hands - Lubricate your hands with soap and let them dry before you put them in the soil so the dirt doesn't stick as easily and it will be easy to wash off when you get inside.

·        Balcony - Soap scrub your balcony to get a beautiful grayish color and a soft surface.

GENERAL TIPS

·        Soap-scrubbed wooden floors - 2-3 dl soap to 10 liters of cold water.

·        Facade cleaning - Soap scrubbing with Levang and a bucket with about ½ dl soap/liter water, or fill the container for the high-pressure washer with Källans Linseed Oil Soap, rinse with clean water. Dirt and black mold will run off. It is significantly more effective and uses a fraction of the soap as with a high-pressure sprayer with soap container.

·        Rubber boots - Lubricate real rubber boots with linseed oil soap so the rubber doesn't crack. Also saves dry rubber molds.

·        Gravestones - Scrub gravestones and memorial stones with soap. The moss will disappear and the stone will become shiny. Mix a capful of soap in a bucket of lukewarm water and scrub clean.

·        Foot bath - Use the linseed oil soap in a foot bath, it softens and smoothes. Great for hard heels.

·        Lubricate hinges that squeak.

·        Dip fishing nets in linseed oil soap solution after fishing to make them easier to untangle.

·        Brushes - Clean used brushes in a dab of concentrated soap in your hand, then rinse thoroughly in cold water. Hang and let dry.
