The marigolds come from KaliFlowers' own herb garden and are hand-harvested when the sun is high and the air is dry. They are then left to soak in organic olive oil for at least a month, so the active ingredients precipitate into the oil. Locally produced organic beeswax and softening shea butter are added for their healing and protective properties, as well as calming lavender and geranium.
The ointment contains no water and no preservatives.
