Every year, billions of coconuts are harvested for their contents – unfortunately, 99% of the shells are thrown away, creating huge amounts of waste. The shells are often burned, generating carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane gas. Instead of letting the shells go to waste, Coconut Bowl uses them to make bowls and other products. The company pays its staff at least 30% above the minimum wage and actively works to ensure gender equality and ethical working conditions.

The bowls are 100% natural and non-toxic.

Since the bowls are not treated with any synthetic substances, they require little care. They should not be washed in the dishwasher. Instead, clean them with a mild detergent. From time to time, they should be oiled with coconut oil, olive oil or another plant-based oil. If they are cared for in this way, the bowls will last a long time.
