Leather grease

Leather oil that cares for, softens and impregnates all types of leather.

This is a handmade product made from carefully selected organic oils, organic carnauba wax and Swedish beeswax. A mild scent of olive, beeswax and orange.

Shea butter is a moisturizing oil that contains vitamins A, E and F and provides a small amount of sun protection. The raw shea butter (unrefined) retains all the beneficial substances and has a natural sun protection factor of 3. Our shea butter comes from organic farms on the West African savannah and is also called "Women's gold" because its production provides hundreds of thousands of women with work and increased status in society.

Organic carnauba wax is completely free of pesticides (chemicals) and the wax is extracted from the leaves that are hand-picked from organically grown carnauba palms in Brazil. This makes carnauba wax a sustainable choice as the palm is allowed to grow year after year and is not cut down to be harvested. The wax has protective properties for skin and leather and provides a water-repellent surface that maintains its shine for a long time. Carnauba wax is non-toxic and approved as a GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL CHOICE.

Use:

• Test on a small hidden area first. Both undyed and dyed leather will turn a slightly darker color when treated with conditioning oils.
• Use on cleaned leather.
• Apply with your fingers or a clean sponge.
• Let dry for an hour so that the oils have time to penetrate deep into the leather.
• Wipe off the excess.
• Can be polished with a soft brush or polishing cloth to give a shinier surface.
• Store at room temperature.
• Color shifts occur because both beeswax and olive oil vary in color depending on the season.
