Organic Handmade Soap – Rasul Lava Clay with Vetiver

Rasul clay has detoxifying properties, is deeply cleansing and mildly exfoliating. Despite its absorbent and deeply cleansing properties, rasul works well for dry and sensitive skin.

The soap can be used for the whole body and also for facial cleansing and hands. Rasult soap has a lovely, slightly dull scent of vetiver grass, which may be reminiscent of sandalwood. The soap is overfatted with 5%, which means that it is not drying but moisturizes the skin.

Vetiver essential oil is steam distilled from wild vetiver grass (Vetiveria zizanoides). It has a strengthening and regenerating effect and is suitable for mature, dry and easily irritated skin. The scent is earthy and slightly woody. Vetiver is calming for stress and nervousness.

Rasul, or Rassoul, is a fantastic lava clay from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Rasul has been used as a soap, shampoo and skin wrap for more than 1400 years. The clay has detoxifying properties and is often used in SPA facilities all over the world as a deep cleansing and nourishing clay. Rasul is known for its absorbent properties and is also a mild exfoliant. The clay has a higher percentage of silicon, magnesium, potassium and calcium than other clays.

All our soaps are handmade in small batches. Each soap is hand-cut, planed and stamped. Then matured for at least 4 weeks to ensure a mild and skin-friendly soap. The soap contains no artificial/synthetic dyes, fragrances or preservatives. Let the soap dry thoroughly between uses and it will last a long time.
