Coal & Clay Detox soap with Tea tree, Lavender and Mint

Coal & Clay is perfect as a facial cleanser for unbalanced skin.

The soap contains activated carbon and kaolin clay.

Activated charcoal, the black bars in the soap, attracts impurities and toxins from the skin like a magnet. Activated charcoal is often used in soaps and other skin products for problem skin. Charcoal is all-natural and works by trapping toxins in its millions of tiny pores. (However, charcoal does not absorb toxins. Instead, it works through adsorption, which is the chemical reaction where elements bind to a surface.)

The white layers of the soap contain fine-grained kaolin clay. Kaolin is a deep cleanser, astringent and gentle enough for very sensitive skin. Kaolin clay contains several different minerals and is often used in face masks and shampoos to normalize an unbalanced scalp.

This soap also contains antibacterial tea tree oil, soothing lavender and purifying peppermint. The soap base is made from organic olive oil, organic coconut oil and organic castor oil. Many people like to use this soap as a deep cleanser before shaving, as a pre-shave soap.
